I tend to get into a rut with work clothes – it is easiest for me to grab the basic black skirt/pants, black blazer and a white or black tank. Yes, I know. So boring. This fall, I’ve been trying to brighten things up a bit. One of my favorite tanks is this yellow one from Caroline Rose. It’s also the perfect laying tank for our weird Colorado weather – one that is dressy enough to wear without a blazer for an after work event.
Can we also talk about these pants? From Topshop — super long. Absolutely love them!

These photos were taken on Chicago’s high line near Wicker Park. I love Chicago and love this part of the city. If you have a chance to visit, I highly recommend taking a walk or run on the high line…it is absolutely gorgeous!
