A Flash of Fluorescent…

One of my favorite things about summer fashion is the color. During the colder winter months, I do my best to stray from black, but it seems like an old friend that I just cannot (and don’t want to!) branch away from. But when the weather starts warming up, I cannot resist the bright colors.

I picked up this lime green dress on sale at Nordstrom Rack smack in the middle of last winter. The color was so appealing and I just envisioned wearing this on vacation at the beach or on a quick girl’s trip to Scottsdale.

I’ve already worn this dress a few times this summer and LOVE it. Someone commented, “Love that dress…I could never pull off such a bright color.” Yes you can! Just keep in mind that when wearing this color (and other bright colors – loving Buttercup yellow too, see here and select the yellow option!), it is best to keep make-up and accessories understated and simple.
