…makes me happy!
Today’s post is all about Peach & Pepper Apparel. I absolutely adore this clothing line. Each piece is unique, yet functional. And as I’ve said before (see here), probably my favorite aspect of the Peach & Pepper is the attention to detail given to each and every item.
This Cold Shoulder Top is no different. The fabric is of the highest quality and the design is simply amazing. It has a light and airy feel, however, the design is so solid that it will anchor your entire outfit. The top is also perfect for spring/summer travel as it will take up absolutely zero space in your bag and won’t wrinkle (bonus!).
I love this Navy Geometric print, but you guys, the top comes in some other fabulous colors (like this amazing pale pink) and designs (check out the brown mosaic)!
I took a bit of creative liberty by wearing the top without “sleeves” (in the pics above), but the top was designed to be worn as shown below (and I prefer the look below!). I have an obsession with the off-the-shoulder trend. I’ve seen so many amazing bare-shoulder tops, but Peach & Pepper’s version provides more interest than the usual.
I wanted to emphasize the bright colors of the fabric, so I paired it with this pink skirt, but I’ve worn it with both denim and white skinny jeans and some wedges for an easy spring/summer look. I also love throwing a trendy blazer over it for work.
If you’re embracing the off-the-shoulder trend – this is your new go-to!

As the temps cool down in Colorado, I am still holding onto the last few days of our summer sunshine. This dress was a staple over the summer and I plan to carry it into fall with a navy cardigan and nude pumps. I love the bright color that just makes you feel happy to wear it. And while I can’t wait to pull on my leggings, sweaters and boots for fall, I’m cherishing this warm sunshine for as long as possible!

Have adored the romper trend since it began, but have not had luck finding high-quality pieces with a classy fit. I actually found this Banana Republic romper when shopping a major sale they hosted two weeks ago. I tried the other two rompers I linked above and same result – excellent fit. They are comfortable, made from high-quality fabric and the cuts feel “just right.” Rompers should provide some comfort, but should not look sloppy. In this instance, the vertical stripes, heavier fabric and belted feature help elevate the structure of this romper.
Because this is such a statement piece, I paired with very minimal accessories – the carnation earrings from JCrew are a hit. Currently sold out, but I found a link to their charcoal color earrings on Ebay. I also found two very similar options from BaubleBar (here and here). I would be shocked if JCrew does not restock these – they come in three different colors (pink, cream, charcoal) and I will be snatching up whatever they restock. I’ve been wearing the cream colored earrings on repeat and have been constantly stopped with compliments and questions about them. I love that they are super light weight and reasonably priced.

It’s almost the 4th of July and my favorite spot for festive 4th gear is Ily Couture. I am in love with the Stars and Stripes shirt pictured above – it is a boyfriend cut, slightly distressed and super comfy. I’ve paired with both cutoff jean shorts (as shown) and white pants. Would also be super cute with a denim or white skirt (on sale!).

If you’re looking for a pair of comfy jean short cutoffs, this pair by Flying Monkey is a fantastic option. I typically shy away from shorts…for no other reason than they just are not super comfortable or the fit isn’t quite right. I LOVE these and will be purchasing this black denim pair soon. The shorts have the perfect amount of stretch, the rise is not too low, yet I feel like they look stylish and on trend. I tried on several pairs and found them all to be true to size.

Everyone knows I have a slight obsession with the shoulder trend going on right now. Off the shoulder, cold shoulder, you name it, I’m wearing it. When I stumbled upon this dress, I knew I had to have it. Ruffles and shoulder detail? Yes. Please.
As fantastic as this dress is (and it is fantastic, you will love it…), I still cannot get over my love obsession with these sunflowers. My friend, Audrey, and I maneuvered our way through some Colorado farm land to shoot in this field. It was absolutely breathtaking. Miles upon miles of these sunflowers and when you stand 5’14” tall like me and still cannot see the end, you know you are amongst a TON of sunflowers.
We spent Labor Day weekend in California and JUST landed back in Denver. I am an ocean girl and love everything about the beach – sun, sand, palm trees, waves – so it is never easy for me to leave, but looking over these pictures tonight reminded me just how much I love Colorado. Thankful for an amazing weekend and thankful to be back home.
Back to the shoulders – I’ve linked several other options below. I am just loving this trend…seems to be here to stay for a while.

Hard to believe August is almost halfway over. I’ve shot several summery outfits that I still want to post before they become irrelevant and fall fashion (my favorite) takes over.
This is by far one of my favorite outfits of the summer. I am still obsessed with ruffles and love that these ruffles are covered in the cutest black/white gingham pattern. The structure of this top is also fantastic. Most of my ruffle tops are flowy, but this style is more corset, so the ruffles remain stable and fixed while being worn. One of my blogger friends wore this top in white and it was just stunning on her. I also love the pink!
These pants by Leith are also a favorite right now. They are the perfect pants to transition from day to night. The front slit adds interesting detail, an upgrade from the normal black trouser, yet still classy, simple and fun. The perfect price point is also a bonus.
Stuart Weitzman does it again with their Corbata Sandal. They are 50% off right now and come in five different colors. My two favorites are the black and nude. I love the lace up detail…because they are suede, they stay tied and a are super comfortable.
